CRM 2011 Create New N:N Relationship

The example below creates a new "Many-to-Many Relationship" between the Opportunity entity and the seminar entity. The image below lists all the active seminar records in our system. You may want to track all the seminars associated with a given Opportunity and Vice Versa. The steps below will illustrate how to create the relationship you need.

STEP 1
Select Settings => Customiztions => Customize the sytem => Entities => Opportunity => N:N Relationships

STEP 2
Enter the required information and click on "Save and Close" when you are finished.

Current Entity
- Enter the "Custom Label" you wish to use
Other Enity
- Select the entity name and enter the "Custom Label" you wish to use

STEP 3
NOTE: Publish the customizations.

STEP 4
Enter a new Opportunity and click on Save and Close.

STEP 5
Open the Opportunity your created on step 4 and click on the "My Seminars" and click on "Add Existing Seminars". Select the seminars you wish to add. We added two records in our example. Press "OK" and click on "Save & Close".

STEP 6
The list will now display the two records that were added.

STEP 7
Go to Sales => Seminars and open any one of the records in our example. You will notice the opportunities listed with the corresponding seminar.
