CRM 2011 Add a new field to a Form
For this example we will be adding two new fields to the Opportunity entity.
STEP 1
Settings => Customiztions => Customize the sytem => Entities => Opportunity => Fields => New
STEP 2
Here we enter the Date of Birth field.
STEP 3
The list shows we entered two custome fields, Date of Birth and Social Security Number.
STEP 4
Next, you need to add the two new fields to the form.
We will be modifying the "Main" form in this example.
STEP 5
Once the form is opened you will see the new fields listed on the "Only show unused fields" list. .
STEP 6
Drag and drop the new fields into the form.
STEP 7
Publish the customizations.
STEP 8
The new fields will appear on the form the next time you open an Opportunity.
